2RU Conventional Raman Counter Pumps

MPBC high-power Raman pumps offer a user-friendly solution to enhance optical links. The 2RU-RFL models are versatile, capable of standalone operation for distributed Raman amplification.

Based on Raman fiber laser technology, these sources are able to provide high power Raman pre-amplification gain providing significant improvement over multiplexed laser diode technology.

These models can also be combined with third-party equipment or other members of the MPBC telecom product family to create a complete transmission system.

2RU Super Raman Counter Pumps - Patented 3^rd Order Pumping

Designed with MPBC’s patented 3^rd order Raman pumping technique, our 2RU Super Raman counter pumps significantly increase link reach by providing unprecedented system margin improvement over conventional Raman pumps.

These Super Raman pumps are engineered for seamless integration with third-party equipment, providing distributed Raman pre-amplification for signal channels within the full or extended C-band. These systems have been deployed worldwide in the most challenging submarine and terrestrial unrepeated links.
