Team testimonials

"I’ve worked here for over 35 years, on many different projects– and I’d have to say the past few years have been the most exciting. I’m working on a program for major customers that involves our optical amplifiers for space applications. These projects are very intense, they demand a lot. There’s a great feeling of reward when they’re successful and it’s really inspiring."

"My favorite part of the workday? There are many. I love innovative work. I’m not the kind of person who can do the same exact thing day-to-day. It’s very creative and dynamic working here. MPB is considered one of the best companies in the world, for many products such as the fiber lasers. Our team produces one of the best amplifiers, for space applications. Our fiber sensors are even the only ones that are flying on a satellite currently, launched in November 2009 they are still completely functional. Another thing is the ambience and environment here. We work as a team, it’s easy to deal with others… we talk about a little bit of everything."

As an Intern at MPBC, I worked on models of our Space Optical Amplifiers, collaborating with manufacturers and our Optical and Electrical teams to ensure everything fit together seamlessly.

What surprised me most about working at MPBC was how supportive everyone was. Anytime I had a question or needed something, there was always someone ready to lend a hand. People would stop what they were doing to help me out.

I also really enjoyed playing in the band! I’m going to miss being there.
