The MLFL-EP is an ultra-compact picosecond mode-locked laser system. It delivers picosecond pulses through polarization-maintaining fiber, with either a narrow spectral bandwidth or a broadband bandwidth for pulse compression applications. The system exhibits outstanding stability in diverse environmental conditions and needs minimal maintenance. Additionally, the system only requires a 5 V power supply. This system is available with a wide range of wavelength selection and repetition rates.
The picosecond laser utilizes an all-fiber design with no bulk optics, ensuring enhanced stability
Fiber delivery provides superior alignment stability
Proven long-life reliability
Easily integrated for seeding amplifiers in larger systems
* These are stretched pulses suitable for pulse compression to <400 fs.
* Optional: FBG fiber stretchers can be requested to stretch pulses to hundreds of picoseconds while matching the higher order dispersion of your compressor gratings.
The MLFL-EP is designed for applications demanding narrow linewidth and broad linewidth picosecond pulses. These narrow linewidth pulses can be amplified for increased power for cell diagnosis and ablation, microscopy, and nonlinear optics research. These broad line width pulses can be stretched using special FBG stretchers and then amplified for increased power and then compressed to achieve femtosecond duration for life science and multi-photon research.
