MPB Communications Space Amplifiers (SPA) provide a range of PM or Non-PM Booster and PreAmplifiers which have been designed and qualified for use in LEO, MEO and GEO installations where high reliability, low mass and low power consumption are essential. Our customized designs draw on COTS optical components which have undergone rigorous testing to ensure survivability up to 100 krad. The radiation tolerant control electronics and mechanical housing have been tested to withstand intense shock and vibration.
MPB SPA amplifiers are built to suit individual customers needs. Design variations included control electronics, built in redundancy, compact foot print, and low power consumption.
