2RU Raman Co-Pumps
The 2RU Raman Co-Pump sources provide distributed Raman post-amplification. They are equipped with two OSC receivers (one for 1574 nm and one for 1610 nm) and an OSC signal transmitter at 1574 nm for fiber integrity monitoring, as well as the coupling optics to combine the outgoing C-Band channels with the OSC Tx signal prior to launch into the span along with the Raman pump power.
Features
- Fiber integrity monitor with automatic safety shut-down and restart
- Bit rate independent
- Easy to use Craft Terminal for control and monitoring
- Integrated Ethernet port for remote management
- Control of the pump in APC mode
- Better OSNR performance for Coherent Detection
- OTDR Port to Line Port
- SNMP interface
2RU Super Raman Co-Pump
The SRCP model can provide up to 3 W at 1276 nm, along with a low power 1454-nm seed, for third-order Raman pumping.
